Community Alive Faith Experience (CAFÉ)

Each month people come together on this one night to gather in fellowship with one another. God’s children of all ages come to learn about the church seasons. There is a time for music. The music each month reflects the season that the theme for that current month. After music a lesson is presented. Much focus and time is put into the planning time of this lesson so that it feeds both the adults as well as the child attending CAFÉ. The CAFÉ community is then part of a response to the education lesson by participating in an art project. This includes anything from painting to cement, from clay to paper. Each month offers a new and exciting way for all CAFÉ people to celebrate their faith though the visual arts. The CAFÉ Experience is complete when all share a meal. No one leaves hungry. CAFÉ feeds the body, mind and soul.

An intergenerational event

All ages are welcome, from the young to the not so young, families, couples, individuals, everyone! Crayons, playdoh and other items are supplied during the entire CAFÉ experience to help young ones feed their need to be busy and active at all times. A snack and refreshing water is provided at each table for all CAFÉ participants. This is a casual welcoming way to worship, learn, educate and be in fellowship with one another.

CAFÉ meets from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., the 2nd Sunday of every month beginning in the fall.
