Family Ski Trip Family Ski Trip to Walhalla or Bemidji in January or February. Skiing, snowboarding, or tubing for all ages at one of our area resorts with group rates on lift tickets and rentals. Community Alive Faith Experience The first Sunday of each month from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. CAFÉ is an intergenerational ministry at Sharon Lutheran Church. The mission is to spend time in fellowship and learning. Gathering once a month, we celebrate the season of the church year with food, music and art. Supper is provided and served at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome! Prayer shawl ministry is beginning at Sharon Lutheran. This is a creation of special scarves or shawls for special times in people’s lives. They can be offered as comfort or in celebration or in recognition. It is an opportunity to spend time in fellowship and prayer. It is also a wonderful opportunity to learn or pass on the needlework traditions of knitting and crocheting. Tailgating at a UND Football game Tailgating at a UND Football game in September or October in the Alerus Center parking lot. Reduced rate tickets and lots of great food. Pumpkin Painting Pumpkin Painting at Sharon on a Sunday afternoon in October. The pumpkins are provided and parents bring the kids for a fun day of painting, cookies and cider. Other Activities Plays, movies, carnivals, road rallies, basketball games, cross country skiing and concerts are some other group activities that the Board of Parish Fellowship has sponsored. |
Upcoming events Keep checking Ongoing events Prayer Shawl Ministry A new opportunity for men and women of all ages and abilities to spend time in fellowship and prayer creating shawls, scarves, lap robes or other items. These are offered to people in special need or in celebration of life events. You may either knit or crochet and there are folks who can help you learn how. Currently we meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:15pm in the lounge. You may also support this ministry through your donations of yarn. Check out your cupboards and closets for extra yarn that you no longer need, Any type may be used and any amount are welcome. If possible include information about content and washability.
