| Crossroads & Reel World Ignite! Senior High Retreat Prairie To Portland |
Crossroads and Rell World do not meet during lent. Back by popular demand, Senior High students are invited to be a part of ignite! Ignite is designed for the fast paced lifestyle that you have in senior high. It’s a time of food, fellowship, and prayer. You & your friends are invited & FREE lunch will be provided. Come to Sharon during your lunch break at school on Mondays during Lent. The west door will be unlocked for your convenience; lunch is served in the fellowship hall. Enjoy great lunch & ignite your prayer life! An offering will be collected to help build a water well in South Africa. Ignite! dates: March 5, March 12, March 19, March 26 and April 2 April 13-14-15. Depart - 4:30 p.m. Return - 3:00 p.m. Castaway Club on Pelican Lake. Cost: $109. This spring retreat is for all youth in grades 9-12. The theme for this year’s retreat is RECYCLED. All things made new! Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life flourishes! Look at it! 2 Corinthians 5:17, The Message. The weekend will include great food and prayer, community and worship, conversations and reflection, nature and games.The retreat will be held at Castaway Club which is located about 13 miles south of Detroit Lakes, MN. A few features of Castaway are: 30 acres rest on a bluff that gradually juts out into a six acre peninsula with a 650 foot sand beach Dorm style housing Giant hot tub, which holds 50 people A game room which includes billards, ping pong, and foosball Activities include an 18 hole frisbee gold course, soccer field, courts for basketball, tinnis, and volleyball, a climbing wall, and initiative games course, and an indoor gymnasium Great food! Plus, all your friends will be there! Sign-up deadline is Sunday, March 18! Dinner - Silent Auction - Raffle. Cost: $10 per person. Sunday, March 25, 2007. 5:30 p.m. Fellowship Hall.
