Weekly Events

Crossroads is a weekly gathering of youth in grades 6-8 on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Gathering in the youth room (lower level), it’s a time for fellowship, learning and games. It’s a time to hang out with friends and talk about faith. It’s for you and your friends. Here’s what’s coming up: Jan. 8 - Welcome back & games, Jan. 15 - Stomp, Jan. 22 - Movie, Jan 29 - Movie.

Reel World is for youth in grades 9-12. Reel World meets downstairs in the youth room each week on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Reel World is a time to get together and get real! It’s a time of conversation and food, fellowship and fun, media and faith. Bring your friends. Upcoming attractions: Jan. 2 - Welcome back & games, Jan. 9 - games, Jan. 16 - Movie, Jan. 23 - Movie, Jan. 30 - Lectio Devina.

3-4-5 Alive! A weekly afternoon program for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to gather together in community for Bible learning fun through stories, games, food, & friends! This group meets on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 - 4:30 pm. Join us and be a part of 3-4-5 ALIVE! January schedule: Jan. 8— Give me a high-five!, Jan. 15— How good it is, Jan. 22— I need a friend, Jan. 29— On the roof.

10th Grade & Mentors

Hey 10th Graders & Mentors! It’s time for a Mentor Event. Who: All 10th graders & Mentors. When: Sunday, December 9, 4:30 p.m. Where: Sharon Lutheran Church.

It’s the time of year to spread some Christmas Cheer! You will be meeting at Sharon, and then heading out to deliver goodies and offer Christmas Cheer!

A La Carte

Come and enjoy a meal at Sharon during the Wednesday schedule. This is designed specifically for you and the fun/busy schedule on Wednesdays. The following items will be available for purchase: pizza by the slice, chips, apples, carrots & ranch, soda, and candy. Food is served from 5:00—6:30 p.m. in the South Hall.

Mission Trips

Senior High Mission Trip Meeting. Participants, Parents & Chaperones. Sunday, January 13 at 6:00 p.m. in South Hall.

Middle School Mission Trip Meeting. Participants, Parents & Chaperones. Sunday, January 13 at 5:00 p.m. in South Hall.

3rd - 8th Grade Ski Trip

Saturday, March 1, 2008, Buena Vista Ski Area ~ Bemidji, MN. Depart - 7:30 a.m. Return - 7:30 p.m. Cost: $35

If you need to rent skis/snowboard/snowtube, or want a lesson, those prices are as follows: $15 ski rental, $26 snowboard rental, $7 ski lesson $9 snowtubing (2 hours).

Bring along money for lunch & supper! Your friends are welcome. Stop by the youth office before January 11 to sign up ($35 payment due at sign-up). Bring rental and lesson money on the day of the event.

B & B

Senior High Youth, you are invited to B & B! It's early morning breakfast & Bible study - crafted just for you!

B & B meets on Thursday mornings at 6:30 a.m. at Kim Adams' home (call church for directions). We'll enjoy good food, fellowship, and take a closer look into the Bible before you head off to school.
