| Golden Age Club Prayer Shawl Book Club Donuts & Fellowship |
The Golden Age Club will gather again on Friday, February 8th, at 2:00 PM in the South Hall. Sandra Simonson from RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program) will share some helpful information about opportunities available for volunteer service in the community. Elaine Kelley, Rose Marie Monteith & Mavis Evenson, will provide a lunch. Invite a friend and come and enjoy a fun afternoon. Knitting and crocheting are wonderful cold weather activities. Join others in making a prayer-filled creation. This group meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. If evenings don’t work for you, join us on the next morning at 10:00. We enjoy a time of prayer, conversation, laughter and learning. There are folks who knit and others who crochet. Some are quite accomplished, while others are just learning. Some knit shawls, while others work on baby caps. There is always someone who can help answer questions. We do not work to any deadlines and we celebrate all our efforts. You are invited to join this group at any time. If you have questions, speak with Pastor Deanna or Bernell Bachmeier. The Sharon Lutheran Book Club meets the first tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Join us once or many times. We enjoy conversation and fellowship, sometimes challenging ourselves and almost always having fun! For more info contact Pastor Deanna.
