Lenten Meals 2008

Dinner will be served from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans-Grand Forks County Chapter #31342 wil be providing matching funds up to $1000. All the proceeds benefit summer youth activities & programs. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Take a night off from cooking and join us for a great meal & fellowship.

Suggested Prices: Adults - $6.00, Youth (ages 3-11) - $3.00, Youth (2 & under) - free.

March 20: Chili & Dinner Rolls, Veggie Tray, Fruit Salad, Bars, Coffee, Lemonade, Water

March 21 - lunch served - $4.00, Soup, Tossed Salad, Bars, Coffee, Lemonade, Water

March 5: Meatballs & gravy, Mashed potatoes, Green Beans, Dinner Rolls, Assorted Desserts, Coffee, Lemonade, Water

March 12: Chicken Noodle Soup, Dinner Rolls, Veggie Tray, Fruit Salad, Bars, Coffee, Lemonade, Water

Ignite!

Back by popular demand, Senior High students are invited to be a part of ignite! Ignite is designed for the fast paced lifestyle that you have in senior high. It’s a time of food, fellowship, and reflection.

You & your friends are invited & FREE lunch will be provided. Come to Sharon during your lunch break at school on Mondays during Lent. The west door will be unlocked for your convenience; lunch is served in the fellowship hall.

Senior High Retreat

April 11-12-13. Depart -4:30 p.m. Return - 3:00 p.m. Castaway Club on Pelican Lake. Cost: $109.

This spring retreat is for all youth in grades 9-12. The weekend will include great food and prayer, community and worship, conversations and reflection, nature and games.The retreat will be held at Castaway Club which is located about 13 miles south of Detroit Lakes, MN.

A few features of Castaway are:

30 acres rest on a bluff that gradually juts out into a six acre peninsula with a 650 fott sand beach

Dorm style housing

Giant hot tub, which holds 50 people

A game room which includes billards, ping pong, and foosball

Activities include an 18 hole frisbee gold course, soccer field, courts for basketball, tennis, and volleyball, a climbing wall, and initiative games course, and an indoor gymnasium

Great food!

Plus, all your friends will be there!

3-4-5 Alive!

A weekly afternoon program for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to gather together in community for Bible learning fun through stories, games, food & friends.

This group meets on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 - 4:30 pm. Join us and be a part of 3-4-5 Alive!
