Healing Prayer

A Parish Nurse and Health Ministry Team service

On the third Sunday of the month, you may have noticed that the pastors announce that there will be healing prayers during the communion service and you may have wondered what that was about. There are stations in the sanctuary and in the Fellowship Hall where one or two people from the Parish Nurse and Health Ministry Team stand. You are welcome to go to the prayer station during communion for prayer. You may choose to tell the prayer helpers what your prayer request is, or you may just hand them the Prayer Card which you can pick up at the table near the entrances. All prayer requests are confidential. You may also choose to put the prayer card in the offering plate; with the option of having the prayer request sent out to the Prayer Chain Ministry of Sharon.
