Worship and Music at Sharon Worship is a time for a community of believers to gather in fellowship and praise of the Almighty God. Music is one form in which we express our praise and Sharon's music ministry continues to be touched by God's never ending grace and blessings. Wednesday Lent Worship Wednesday Lent Worship services begin on Ash Wednesday (March 1) at 5:15 & 6:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Also, Wednesday Lenten dinners are served from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Sanctuary Remodel Preliminary designs relating to the Sanctuary Enhancement Project have been created. These photos show the intent of opening up the chancel area for better use of the space, new chancel furnishings which are less dominant in size, and enhanced lighting. A better sound system is also a concern, but is not depicted in the photos. "Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care." Psalm 95: 1,6-7 |
