Opportunities for fellowship, fun and service

Ski Trip

Experiencing God through the gift of nature is the concept of the 5 day ski trip for Senior High students. The ski trip is held in late December and takes place at Big Sky Resort and Bridger Bowl both near Bozeman, MT.

Peer Ministry

Peer Ministry is for youth in grades 9-12. Peer ministry is about faith, relationships, leadership, communication, and service.. it's meaningful... it's real ... it's for you. Events happen throughout the year. Contact Kim Adams for more information.

Reel World

Reel World is a weekly gathering of youth in grades 10-12 on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the youth room. It meets from September through May. Reel World is a time for to get together and get real! Bring you friends, and come talk about life, faith, and movies! Look for additional summer opportunities.

B & B

Senior High Youth, you are invited to B & B! It's early morning Breakfast & Bible study - crafted just for you! B & B meets on Thursday mornings at 6:30 a.m. at Kim Adams' home from September through May. We'll enjoy good food, fellowship, and take a closer look into the Bible before you head off to school.

Mission Trip

You can make youth ministry history at Sharon! The annual mission trip is open to youth who are currently in grades 9-12. Serving alongside local organizations, teenagers have the opportunity to serve as Jesus did by ministering to the homeless, serving local children and the elderly. This trip takes place annually in mid to late July and is lead by Youthworks!.

Camp Metigoshe

This annual camp trip to Camp Metigoshe is held in early to mid August and is for youth who are entering the 8th, 9thth, or 10th grade in the fall. The camp is located on Lake Metigoshe near Bottineau ND. The theme for summer 2004 is “Life is Good.”  A summer full of worship, Bible study, fun, and games all centered around the theme of stewardship.

Spring Retreat

Each spring a retreat is held for the Senior High youth. The retreat is held at Young Life's Castaway Club. The Castaway Club is located in the heart of Minnesota's beautiful lake country, 13 miles south of Detroit Lakes. The Castaway features dorm style housing, plush lawns, a giant hot tub, game room, 18-hole frisbee golf course, soccer field, courts for basketball, tennis, and volleyball, climbing wall and much more.
