Abundant Life
Youth and family ministry is concerned about the lives of people and the faith that can give them abundant life (John 10:10). It is evident from research, daily life experience, and the chronicles of the church that there are at least four keys that can nurture healthy relationships and faith at the same time. The following are the four keys or building blocks of youth and family ministry:
- Caring Conversation
- Family rituals and traditions
- A family devotional life
- Intergenerational service to others that conveys the beliefs, values, and lifestyle of the home
"Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it." Psalms 34:11-14
