Pastor Dominique Buchholz

Dominique Buchholz staff photoI am so grateful to serve as a pastor to the people of Sharon Lutheran Church.  God is at work here! You see it in the ways this community is drawn together to worship, the ways we support one another, and in our commitment to follow where Jesus is leading us to serve others.

Pastor Dominique joined the ministry of Sharon Lutheran in February 2017. She is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA, and studied Social Work at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Sharon Lutheran is her first call as an ordained pastor. Before joining us, Pr. Dominique and her husband, Max, served as a missionaries in Slovakia through the ELCA's Global Missions. Max is a nurse at Altru and a digital marketing consultant for churches and non-profits. The two met while working at Camp of the Cross in Garrison, ND. Since moving to Grand Forks, they have of course been learning more about hockey, and they also love to travel, live entertainment, camping, and pretty much anything that involves being outdoors.
